Who We are:
Baptist Campus Ministries (BCM) is a student-led organization seeking to make a difference in the lives of students at Troy University. We are open to all students regardless of your spiritual/church background. We provide a variety of worship gatherings, mission endeavors, fun events, and usually food! We desire to create an atmosphere where you can ask questions, develop friendships, study, rest and regroup, and above all, to know and grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Mission Statement:
Seeking to glorify God through sharing the Gospel of Christ on campus, creating an environment of fellowship, and connecting students to a local church.
Campus Minister
Brad Bensinger
Many years ago as I went through college life, I recognized the benefits of connecting with BCM at the University of Montevallo. God worked through some great relationships to teach me about His love and move me forward in His will even as I struggled to make decisions and understand why some things happened. Now I have the joy of loving on students at Troy and watching how God is molding and shaping them for his glory. Looking back, I can now say my Math degree, my many mission trips (especially Taiwan), and many hours of ping pong from my school days have been very beneficial in providing ways to connect with students on the campus of Troy!
I am the husband of one wife – a beautiful, amazing woman named Ivett. She was born in Cuba and her field of work is Occupational Therapy. We have three grown children – Olivia, Jacob, and Adam.
